Remote Desktop Licenses. All Windows VPSs allow 2 administrative users to login concurrently. If you require more you must purchase a license for each additional user. Note this covers both per user and device licenses. Windows 2019 or 2022 in a workgroup environment can only be licensed per device. For per user licensing you must have active directory installed.

Setup of Remote Desktop Services. Required when purchasing Remote Desktop Licenses. All Windows VPSs allow 2 users to login concurrently. If you require more you must purchase a license for each additional concurrent user. The setup fee is to install and configure terminal services.

This does not include SQL Server licensing, which you will also require to run Sharepoint services.

Minimum of 4 cores required (so must purchase at least two of this item)

SQL Server Standard Edition Per User
Must license the number of Active Directory or Local Users connecting directly to the SQL Server in a given month. The user licensing model cannot be used for concurrent user access such as a website database.

Select the number of cores you have on your VPS, the minimum license option is 4, so if you have less than 4 cores you must select 4. You can install SQL Web Edition by mounting the DVD in the portal. Ensure the CPU Cores in the licensing matches your VPS CPU Cores to adhere to Microsoft Licensing.

For dedicated servers running virtual machines ONLY - this license is NOT applicable to VPSs ordered through our regular system, they come with the Windows license included.
2 Core License for Windows Server Standard. There is a minimum of 8 cores per licensed server, so each server must license this a minimum of 4 times.
